The map of military influence in Syria for March 2020 showed stability of the total control ratios recorded in February among the conflicting forces on the Syrian soil.
According to Jusoor for Studies Center released map, the control ratios on the ground are as follows:
• The opposition factions maintained the control ratio recorded in February at (10.98%).
• The Syrian regime maintained the control ratio recorded in February at (63.83%).
• The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) maintained the control ratio that they had recorded since January 2019 at (25.64%).
• Naturally, ISIS has not had any military control over the Syrian soil since February 2019.
The stability of the control ratios is due to the commitment of the Syrian regime and opposition factions to the ceasefire that was implemented in the framework of the Moscow memorandum and was signed between Turkey and Russia on March 5, 2020.
February has witnessed a noticeable increase in ISIS activities, which amounted to 66 operations distributed between the cities Aleppo and Palmyra, the right bank of the Euphrates in Deir ez-Zor and al-Shaddadi area in Hasaka Province.

Also, in March 2020, there was a noticeable increase in the level of security intervention by the Syrian regime and its allies in the governorates of Daraa and As-Suwayda in the south of the country.
